When you see the scans look on the right side of the page where there is a thing you can use to get tracking updates. They will send you e-mail updates of tracking info. That will often start the scans appearing. Those seem to me to be extreme and unnecessary measures. Although there are sometimes delays in the tracking records, the system works well. I have an arrangement with my local Post Office that when there is a line, I just go to the head of the line and drop off my bins on the counter at an unoccupied postal clerk space.
